Customer Review: Not a warm winter dress, but definitely alterable if you have the know-how

Let's talk about the quality of the dress. I ordered the medium size of the dress and the sleeves are shorter than I would have liked. Any good seamstress would be able to add some fabric to the end of the sleeves though, since there's a cuff of white fluff to hide the seam anyway. The picture shows it being more form fitting than the garment actually is, but again, easily alterable is you really want it that way. Otherwise, it's not skin tight, but the fabric shows of subtle curves in all the right places without being overwhelming.
The hood looks amazing when it's up and leaves a nice dip to reveal your neck line and collar bone. You're not going to get any cleavage out of this dress unless you're wearing a push up that goes to your chin, but the dress does create a cutesy, subtle beauty (not the sexy "fun times" costume some of you might be hoping for). I plan to wear the dress along with black leggings, some white gloves and white fur-trimmed boots to create an entire outfit.
If you do plan on wearing this as an outside dress to a Christmas party or some other event when it's cold outside, the dress is not lined on the inside, i.e. the fabric is very thin. Comfortable to wear; doesn't scratch like the backs of some other fabrics, but if you want it to be a warm dress I recommend you sew a fleece or flannel lining into it.
All in all it's a fantastic dress and I don't regret my purchase in any way. As far as the shipping speed, it would have arrived on time if not for a postal mistake that delayed it for two days, but that's not the seller's fault. I contacted them and they were extremely fast and friendly in their reply; so excellent customer service points for them! If you're willing to put a little work in this you can make a warm, durable outfit that will last for a couple years, so I'm definitely recommending it.
