I used this stage blood for a production of Sweeney Todd and it worked GREAT. The stuff goes a long way. I had five performances and everyone got tons of blood on them, yet I still have 3/4's of a bottle left. In order to bloody up my victims, I used a little squeezy tube that I held in my hand behind the blade where no one could see it. It was a little too thick to begin with, but with just a small amount of water I got it to the perfect viscosity with no trouble. The best part: it washed out of every costume that I got it on. If you don't have time to put your bloody clothes in the washing machine, you can even wash it out with just soap and water. Totally realistic and it clots up well. Also, it's edible. Our kid who played Tobias had the freedom to creepily lick some blood of the razor. I was curious and tried some-- honestly, it tastes like absolutely nothing. I have been around some other kinds of stage blood before, and none work so well as this stuff. It's fantastic and I know that you will be satisfied.
