Pirate Treasure Hunter is a fun electronic game of hot and cold designed especially for treasure hunters. The pirate treasure chest has a map in one section and pirate booty in another. Hide the bottom of the Pirate Treasure Hunter treasure chest. Then use the treasure-map top to seek it out, following the "X" as it flashes from blue to orange to red. Use your smarts to be the first to find the treasure! Treasure Hunter Chest is approximately 4" x 4" x 3". Requires 6 AAA batteries, sold separately. Customer Review: Great Toy, Bad Customer Service

I am writing to share my experience with trying to obtain the toy. When Wild Planet was unable to deliver the toy, custoemr service called but did not leave a call back phone number or email. I had to search to find a number in which the only number available was for placing an order. The orders department could not transfer me to any other department as they were in another building and would not give out the main office number. Also, I never received an email with the order tracking number.
However, the toy is good.

Make sure you look at the dimensions on this game before purchasing it - it is very small. It is not meant to put things in, it is mearly a transmitter designed to look like a treasure chest.Customer Review: got boring fast

I was looking forward to this toy...after reading the reviews, I knew it would be small...I knew it would flash, blah blah blah....What I DID NOT know is that each time it flashes, it beeps SO LOUDLY over and over. OMG, OVER AND OVER. Not just one or two beeps, but it beeps over and over and over, each time it gets a signal from the treasure, it is CONSTANT, and it is LOUD.
My husband is going to have to figure out how to make this either not beep and only flash, or at the very least how to make it not so loud. :( I wish I had known how loud this would be, I would have rethought it. It is loud enough to trigger headaches....
There is no visible speaker on it, so to make it softer will mean it has to be taken apart. Hopefully, it wont ruin the toy when we do that. If you can handle the loud, insanely loud constant beeping...then this would be great. Otherwise, think twice. I would have.
