These worked well for my slim 10-year-old. It's hard to find clothes to fit him because he's quite slim and these have the added feature of the adjustable waistband. They're also heavy enough that I feel the material won't give out after a month of active use (unlike some of the cheaper jeans sold at Target). Add in a fair price and these are keepers!
