I have a 90 foot sloping driveway that requires frequent snow removal. Prior to the Yaktrax I would slip and slide while trying to control a shovel packed with snow. The Yaktrax provide exceptional grip and have made this exercise more sure footed and allow me to walk confidently rather than hesitating with every step.
DO NOT WHERE INSIDE. My wife who ironically broke her arm due to a slip on ice was wearing her Yaktrax and when she entered a building she fell on the tile floor. These are dangerous indoors and should only be worn outside.
Quality construction at a good Amazon price. What more can you ask for?

I have at least 5 pairs of YakTrax, in different sizes for both myself and my husband. I've used YakTrax original, but the Yaktrax Pro with the strap across the foot is the only one to buy. The others will fall off or work themselves off your feet while you're walking through snow and you'll never see them again. I live in Colorado at 9,000 feet and if I had to choose ONE winter item to buy for icy conditions, it would be the Yaktrax Pro. You should keep a pair in your car for walking in icy/snowy conditions. If you wear winter boots, buy a larger pair. I use a large for a size 9-10 women's, and even the extra large will fit on my boots just fine -- The smaller YakTrax will tend to pop off the front of your boots. They don't fall off, but it's annoying to have to keep pulling them back on. Get a larger size -- and enjoy the increased security on the ice that YakTrax gives you. These traction cleats are perfect for ice and snow. My whole family uses them on shoes and boots for added traction. During this icy winter, we are able to walk everywhere without slipping at all. They attach or detach easily to shoes and boots. Make sure that you check the sizing because the shoe size range is not what you might expect since they are for both men's and women's shoes.
