Customer Review: VERY longs sleeves

Based on the other reviews, I was a little iffy about buying a size small (my normal size) but the medium was out of stock so I figured I'd give it a try. Surprisingly, it fits just fine! My only complaint? The sleeves are about 3 inches too long. It should be pretty simple to alter once I dig my sewing machine out of the closet, though.Customer Review: Nice Quality, But Sizing WAY Off.

Like other reviewers have stated for this product, the sizing chart as of November 2009 is way, way off. The sizes appear to run at least 1-2 sizes too small. In real life, my wife is a size 18W-20W (depending on the product and brand), which according to the sizing chart would put her between XL and 2XL, so she ordered size 2XL. Both the fleece and the puffer vest were many inches short of even closing, let alone fitting properly. Not that the sausage-casing look isn't hot, but come on.......really?
With regards to product quality, everything appears to be very nice - from materials to assembly/construction. If only they would have been sized properly, both items would have been keepers. The real rub is that Amazon charged me the return shipping because "the error is not theirs". Clearly, I'm not going to have a meltdown or stop shopping at Amazon over this, but it's always a little frustrating when things don't work out as planned. Better luck in the future, I guess.

I am 5'2 about 130 lbs. I usually wear a Medium, but based on the reviews, got a Large. I could have gotten away with a medium if I had wanted to because I found the Large to be a bit roomy. However, that's ok, because I intend to wear layers under this sweater during the winter time. My biggest complaint is that the sleeves are very long. It goes beyond my fingers by about an inch. I guess if you fold it up it's ok. As for the length of the sweater, it's fine b/c it hits me just at the top of my hips, so it actually looks pretty good.
For the price (I got it at $10), it's a sweater worth getting, esp. since the quality is so nice. It's a soft, smooth, thick fleece that is anti-pilling (so the label says). As far as I can see, it'll surely keep you warm in the cold weather, which was the main purpose of me buying it. The design is cute but the cutting is a little off

So I read the other reviews about the sizing being off, and the item being smaller than it's announced size. I wear size S and XS and bought the size Medium. Does it fit? The chest fit is OK (I still could buy the small though) but the sleeves are too long. I love the quality of the fleece. Very soft and light and warm. Exactly what I wanted for my travels. The shirt is very cute,but I have to agree that it does run very small. Based on the sizing chart i was to get an XL. This was pretty snug on me (5'9 195 lbs). It wasn't so tight I couldnt wear it however, and my husband said it looked nice. The material is very soft. This will definitely be one of those air dry shirts, as putting it in the dryer will make it too small to wear. :(
