Constructed from durable plastic and finished in vivid colors, this helmet is virtually indistinguishable from the Optimus Prime in the movie. We bought this as a Christmas gift for our 4 year old son, who loves Transformers. He has had an absolute ball with it, and so has the rest of the family! It's pretty fun to put it on and tell your kids to clean their room or go get in the bath! I bought this toy for a 6 year old little girl. I wasn't sure if she would like it or not, but took a chance since the reviews were good. She absolutely LOVES it. It is very easy to use and unlike a lot of "voice changing" devices you can actually understand the person speaking through it. I would recommend it highly even to those who are not into Transformers-it is just a cool toy.Customer Review: Mom plays with it too!!

This helmet is so much fun!! My son LOVES to come up behind me (while I am totally not expecting it) and say something to me while wearing the helmet. It REALLY does change your voice. This was one of the few Christmas presents my son actually continues to play with. As a matter of fact, all of the adults were taking turns playing with it too! I received this toy in excellent shape. I purchased one for my grandson and one for his friend for Christmas gifts. They both loved them. They seem to be pretty durable because they have been dropped several times and no parts are broken or chipped. I think the best part of this purchase for me was the PRICE. Thanks Amazon.com

A well constructed and fun item. I got one for my 8 year old nephew and liked it so much I got one for my daughter. I often justify my purchases by saying it was for "the baby." Frankly, many of the baby's toys get played with by me! The toy is well made and I know she will grow into it...as for me...I like having it around to make guests wonder a bit.
