I bought this for my 5 year old nephew and he loved it! Huge plus that it comes with the batteries already loaded.
As other reviews point out, the inside could use some cushion, particularly around the nose area. Also, the top portion of the helmet does not stay on well. Not a huge deal b/c you don't really need it on there.
Overall, a good buy!

My son rec'd this for Christmas. He loves it. It has two modes. One mode has sayings and sounds of Optimus Prime. The other mode is a voice changer. When my son is speaking through the helmet in the voice changer mode it sounds really creepy and not like Optimus Prime at all.Customer Review: Son likes item

This was a birthday gift for my son, since he loves the Transformers. He loves it, he pretends he is Optimus Prime crushing Megatron. It's a little pricey I thought, but my son does have fun with this product. It isn't very educational, but it's still a fun toy.Customer Review: Fun

This helmet is a huge hit with the two five-year-olds I gave it to for Christmas. Luckily, I did not buy it through Amazon as I first intended. The Amazon price is over twice the list price. What's up with that?
