I purchased these mittens to match the hat of the same brand. The quality of the mittens is very good (they kept their shape and color after washing and drying) and it certainly protects my newborn's hands. However, just like it tends to happen with mittens, they fall off pretty easily, so that is the only downside of this product. I'm not sure this is a defect of the product's elastic band; I suspect it has more to do with the hands of newborn babies and their jerky movements, which makes me wonder if this issue is less of a problem in older children who have a stronger grip.
